The v festival is held on the weekends and it is plays simultaneously in two different parks. The two different location on which this plays are at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in south Staffordshire. So if a particular band is performing in Hylands Park on Saturday then he will play in Weston Park on Sunday, in this way they swap and play at two different sites simultaneously.  Although predominantly a rock music festival, a wide range of musical genres are accepted; in recent years pop acts have become ever more common.

About V Festival

V festival started in the year 1996. The front man of pulps, Jarvis Cocker announced that he wants to play at two different places in two different days. Then the promoters of the pulp’s came to gather and they thought about this idea and they were trying to make this idea more fruitful and thus they came up with an idea of playing the band in two different places in Victoria Park Warrington as well as Hylands Park Chelmsford. These two places are away from each other one is in the north and the other one is in the south so that both the side people can get a chance to see the band. As the years passed they kept improving this festival. Later on they thought of adding many different bands in the bill that will help putting on the second stage and letting people camp for the weekend. Later it was found that Victoria Park is way too small for three stages and camping. Thus August 1996 there was one day of artists in Victoria Park and 2 days at Hylands Park with camping. And the northern part of the v festival was then sifted to another side and it was then switched to Temple Newsam, which had better space for camping and also three stages where possible to put up there. In 1999 the Northern leg of the festival was moved to Weston Park in Staffordshire, which isn’t really Northern, and has remained there since. All Things Vegas!
